Lynn Scott, heavyliftingindustries producer, is holding auditions for a pantomime she is directing of Aladdin being produced through KWLT. This is an open walk-in audition. For more information check out kwlt.org.

THE NEW FACE OF SECURITY Auditions

Auditions have completed. We saw some very interesting and fantastic actors. Thank you to everyone that took the time to come out and perform for us. We really enjoyed meeting and talking with everyone. We will be following up with everyone who auditioned via email by September 19th.

Table read is schedule for the end of September. Shooting is slated for the end of October.

Audition Call

heavyliftingindustries is holding auditions by appointment for an upcoming short film, The New Face of Security, shooting at the end of October. Genre is sci-fi with an undercurrent of horror similar to The Twilight Zone.

Auditioning for two roles.

1. 30 to 55 years old, either gender

Professional and reserved. A calm and even manner that matches a warm smile. All of it a subversive manipulation designed to garner trust.

2. 18 to 30 years old, either gender

Blunt and loud. Verbally aggressive and short tempered wearing all their flaws on the outside for the world to see.

THE NEW FACE OF SECURITY

With shooting complete on PLAN Z, heavylifitingindustries is moving in to preproduction on another short film with the working title THE NEW FACE OF SECURITY.

In the vein of The Twilight Zone, THE NEW FACE OF SECURITY opens with a woman waking to find herself strapped to a gurney in a dark, curtained area. Her only company is a government agent in a suit who brands her a domestic terrorist. The interrogation begins. She expects to be tortured for information. The torture comes but it's certainly not what she was expecting.

Currently slated to start filming the last weekend of September, THE NEW FACE OF SECURITY is being produced with assistance from Ed Video which will be providing the majority of the production's equipment.
